The Magic Mirror hardware is open source so you can build the hardware yourself and just purchase the software. The Magic Mirror Arduino Shield does make the installation much easier though and is available assembled or as an unassembled kit. The unassembled kit also includes a Seeeduino and some additional components (see below). The sensors are purchased separately. An assembled Magic Mirror Sensor Hub is also available.
